Spectrum was founded in 1996 by Sharon Joseph, a seasoned executive with extensive business experience in both Fortune 500 companies and emerging market firms. Sharon has a myriad of strategic and tactical skills and is especially successful at helping Owners and CEO's take their companies to "the next level".  She is accredited by the Institute for Independent Business and works closely with a network of other skilled senior-level executives to bring the best, most cost-effective, results to her clients.

Sharon began her career in Fortune 500 entities as a Cost Analyst and Controller.  After stints in Planning and Budgeting, she segued into Direct Sales and Product Marketing in the Packaging and Food Service industries.

In 1996, she began serving small businesses, assisting Owners with growth and operational matters.  Selected industries have included online stores, packaging, food, food service, metal fabrication, early childhood education, and medical devices.  In 2004, she was asked to step in as President of a $7 million food distribution company, which she grew to over $12 million by the end of 2006, when she left to resume her consulting practice.

Sharon is effective as both a high level advisor and a hands-on leader.  She earned a BA in Spanish and, simultaneously, a BS in Mathematics from the University of Illinois and later earned an MBA from the University of Michigan, also in two disciplines, Finance and Business Strategy.
